The Montessori Mile fundraiser is a recreational "fun run" open to all pre-k through 8th grade students.

Over the course of a week, registered racers will raise funds by asking family and friends to pledge money for running the student completes outside of school. Students have the opportunity to win awesome prizes donated by local businesses by earning raffle tickets for each mile they log. We end the week with an on-campus KME community event where students get to run while families cheer them on.

All funds from the 2024 Montessori Mile event will support our school’s Roots in Nature Outdoor Program and helps lower costs per family, making it more accessible for all students.

​

The purpose of the Roots in Nature outdoor education program, in partnership with the Montana Hybrid Academy, is to increase the amount of time our students spend outside experiencing nature, learning outdoor survival skills, applying science, and more.
