The First Best Ride:

A two-day vintage bike ride in Montana

Dear Cino-philes,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that there will be no supported Cino ride this year.  We have loved getting to know the wider cycling community around the nation and even the world.  The spirit of riding with and supporting each other while celebrating cycling's past glories has been and will continue to be a part of all of us. Unfortunately, the heavy lifting of organizing the ride has outpaced our school's ability to provide support.  We thank you for your support in the past and are sorry that not all who wanted to participate got the chance.

Come September 13, there will most likely be riders found somewhere on the road between Kalispell and Hot Springs.  There will likely be a refreshing hose found by the usual locals' farm or ranch.  There might be a gate open to a hidden waterfall around lunch time.  There may even be a car that has taken their street clothes and swimming gear to Hot Springs ahead of them. But any riders will be fully self-supported on the route there and back.

Cino has returned to the roots from whence it came.

By the sweat of your brow you will turn your cranks and eat your baguette, until you have covered the dusty path, because out of it you were taken; for you are Cino, and to Cino you will return.

- Cino 3:19 (roughly translated from the original Latin)
